We don’t have to explore Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur alone: ​​Belinda’s brother Gregory is visiting, so it’s the three of us who visit the famous Petronas Towers and the small remaining rainforest in the city, called “Taman Tugu”, together. Then we shift into high gear to quickly cross our last, southern section of Malaysia; the land is hilly to flat, and the palm oil plantations are monotonous. However, we do take the time to visit Malacca, perhaps Malaysia’s most historically significant city, for a very pleasant evening with Warmshowers host Saiful and for the retort towns of Putrajaya and Forest City.
